Derek Jones - Lead Pastor
Derek is the founding and lead pastor of Lakeside. He moved to Utah with his family from Eastern Canada in 2001 to start Lakeside Church. He has over 25 years of pastoral experience and is actively involved in training church planters in Utah and Idaho. |

Mike Roos - Purpose Driven Leader (Discipleship)
Mike is a Master Sargent in the US Air Force at Hill Air Force Base. He has a real heart for dicipleship and is constantly active in mentoring relationships and helping other leaders at Lakeside do the same. Mike also leads our Children's program and is currently working toward a degree in psychology. |

Roger Beal - Purpose Driven Leader (Evangelism)
Having attended another great church here in the valley for a number of years, Roger and his family decided to make Lakeside their church home a couple of years ago when his heart became broken for his own community in Syracuse. Roger's passion for evangelism drives our outreach campaigns and witnessing programs. |

Brian Layton - Purpose Driven Leader (Ministry)
When the opportunity came for Lakeside to regularly collect frozen food from local grocers and distribute it to the community, Brian was quick to step up and take the lead. Brian's heart is for people and is a driving force behind our community programs. He is currently working toward a degree in Religion from Liberty University. |

Matt Jones - Purpose Driven Leader (Worship)
Matt has been on staff at Lakeside since 2003 and leads the music at Lakeside. He also teaches on Sunday mornings when Pastor Derek is out of town. Matt is our graphic designer and is in charge of our website and printed materials. He is currently working toward a degree in Religion from Liberty University. |
